HaPPy Bamboo Pendant
Ahhh, what a day, the sun is shining the birds are singing and it is 60*. The Lord is so good to us :o) My hubby and I are having a 'date night' tonight so that means that our princess gets to stay with her Pap & Nana. I bet she is disappointed...NOT!! Ummm, now where to go for dinner? I am hungry already!On the art topic, featured today is one of my favorites, not only the look of the finished product but also the creating process!
This piece was created using a dark mahogany base bamboo tile and them adding a reproduced vintage image(s). These pendants are so lightweight and easy to wear. Piece has been sealed and is strung with an approx. 18" black colored hemp cord and embellished with 2 silvertone mesh metal beads. Pendant measures approx. 3/4" wide X 1 1/2" high (not including the focal bead at the bottom). Closure consists of a silvertone heart toggle.
Dress it up or dress it down, goes with everything!
I am currently working on another batch of these beauties. They will be ready very soon!

The feature of today is this sweet DrEAm Shadowbox Collage.Collage includes...~black wooden shadowbox with glass front, comes with a sawtooth hanger for back. I've used lots of embellishment goodies...
~reproduced vintage child image~paper letter tags~jewels of various colors~aqua blue paisley scrapbook paper for background~rubber ivory trim pieces for corners.
Finished piece measures approx. 6.5" tall x 6.5" wide x 3/4"deep.

Trinket Box Collage
Featured today is a fun trinket box that will be in my etsy shop a little later today!
Wow, did I have fun creating this one :o)
On top you will find a unusual fairy that shows off a clock face and gold crown. And of course wings!! Trinket box is wooden with a hinged lid...you can store your little trinkets inside! Altered art is great, there is not right or wrong...just creative! Let your imagination soar.

Now this was a fun piece to create :o)
For your consideration we have an original Egg collage. Inside you will find a precious little fairy surrounded with tiny pink paper roses as well as teal satin roses. The lid on this piece closes to hid away this cutie or leave it open to display the scene inside.

This creation began with a white metal piece that I complimented by collaging a vintage child image and the bible scripture verse "But let patience have its perfect work that you may be perfect & complete lacking nothing. These are at the top of my list for 'fun' creating!!
Here we have little miss royalty atop a 'pull toy' wagon. You will build your own story while taking in the unique pieces of this original altered art collage! On the top you'll find digital images of a sweet princess fairy and her house...lots of pink & white mini roses as well as 'crystal rocks' and a original vintage skelton key! Also, on the front you'll find a sign that reads 'keys to the kingdom' and another actual vintage skelton key! To complete this creation...I've added a silvertone chain and crystal for the 'pull toy' handle.
